Leaders Assemble JRHS
John Rennie’s Leadership Camp provides students unique growth opportunities. Younger participants attend workshops, while seniors act as animators and organizers. Beyond skill-building, the camp fosters a safe community and lifelong friendships. Even those not in leadership classes can attend by volunteering and showing strong initiative throughout the entire school year.

This week has been action packed as we begin to wrap up our school year. We've seen our evening of Jazz, Basketball Tournaments, fieldtrips and more. In this edition we're also releasing our Exam Schedule for the May/June exam season.

It's a short week here at JRHS, but we've managed to pack if full of activities, sporting events and more! It's Leaderhsip Camp, B.R.I.D.G.E.S have been to the Planetarium, and we saw the amazing performances of The Outsiders.

This week we welcome our local seniors for our 3rd annual high tea, we put on amazing performances of The Outsiders, we celebrated success in the classroom and on the sports filed as well as learning about the environment on Earth Day! It was action packed!

This has been a busy week, our first full one in quite a while! We welcomed back our Grads from their trip to Europe, represented JRHS at the LBPSB Teen Summit, and we're gearing up for The Outsiders next week!
Water Polo Success
We're celebrating this week with the success of our Water Polo teams over the last few weeks! Amazing games, and amazing scores!
A Week in Review | Mar 20th 2026
What a vibrant week of student achievements and community spirit we've had here at John Rennie High School! In our March 20th review, we are proud to celebrate the 70th anniversary of our diverse Black & Gold talent show and the success of our annual Grade 11 Model United Nations, featuring epidemiologist Dr. Christopher Labos as our keynote speaker. Alongside these events, our Grade 11 Leadership classes kicked off a two-week fundraising raffle for the Harding Sisters Scholarship to honor the memory of two of our beloved former students. On the sports front, our athletics teams had an action-packed week, highlighted by our water polo squads' dominant 44-goal performance and hard-fought matches from our futsal teams.

The run up to March Break has seen many events, accomplishments and celebrations. This week has also seen the wrap up of Black History Month here at JRHS. From success in the pool, to standing up for bullying it's been another packed week.

This week has seen many highlights in its short 3 days, the Cycle 1 play - The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon, Grad Ski, and many sporting events. We even found time to catch up with our very own Olympian Mme. Gibeau. We're also getting geared up for Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week next week.
